For you WordPress junkies available, get ready, 3.0.5 has now obtainable and the focus is security. Based on the WordPress blog, "This security release is needed in the event you have any fake user accounts; however it also includes important security improvements and hardening. All WordPress followers are strongly asked to update."
Other issues that had been addressed include:
Two modest security problems were set that would have permitted a Contributor- or Author-level user to gain further use of the site. One data disclosure concern was tackled that would have permitted an Author-level user to view items in posts they shouldn’t be able to see, like private posts or draft.
Two security augmentations were added. One improved the safety of any plugins which had been not correctly leveraging the safety API. The other offers extra defence in depth against a vulnerability which was fixed in the past release.
